Walking with God in your experience

Psalms  84:4 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they will be still praising thee. Selah.  84:5 Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; in whose heart are the ways of them.  84:6 Who passing through the valley of Baca make it a well; the rain also filleth the pools.  84:7 They go from strength to strength, every one of them in Zion appeareth before God.

One of the deception that we allowed in our walk as believers is the fact that we make people to believe that once you give your heart to Jesus every issue and challenges will suddenly disappear and you won’t have issues again as you journey on this side of eternity.  As a matter of fact the moment any believer experiences set backs or problems we come to the conclusion that he or she must have commited sin or perhaps backslidded.  We tend to attributes problems and challenges in bthe life of a believer in Christ Jesus to be synonym with sin or probably lack of faith.

There are two faces to Christianity;  we accept one and deny the existence of the other.  Philippians  3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; We agreed with the power of His resurrection and deny the existence of the fellowship of His suffering.  As a matter of fact most preachers have thrown away the preaching of the Cross and lay so much emphasis on teachings and preaching that seem to portray God as a father Christmas.

We will go through stuffs that will often time be at variance with our believe system,  no wonder someone said “Never change your belief system to accommodate a tragedy”.What God expects of us in such a situation is simply to walk with God in that experience or situation.  It’s your attitude in that will determine the final outcome. The great Apostle Paul prayed and fasted over a challenge and God simply told Him in 2 Corinthians  12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.  12:8 For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.  12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me

So no matter what you might be going through,  you need to learn how to walk with God in your experience. You must not allow your experience to determine your believe system.  Don’t use your experience to interpret the word of God but rather use the word to interpret your experience.
